Lexus updates for 2020
The Lexus UX slots in just below the NX range and is essentially the entry point into Lexus SUV ownership. It is definitely a premium segment contender taking on the likes of BMW's X1, Mercedes' GLA and Audi's Q3. It has a leg up in the fact that it is hybrid and that alone makes it a solid choice in this segment.

The UX range is only a year old in South Africa but has already received a small update.
So what's changed?
The Lexus UX continues into the 2020 model year virtually unchanged.
The minor update will most likely interest you depending on your smartphone, the refresh adds Android Auto and Apple Car Play integration into the infotainment system featuring a new set of controls on the centre console. This is a very welcome change as many bemoaned the terrible interface with a system that couldn't support mobile phones.
Anything else?
The 2020 update also now includes Rear Cross Traffic Alert and BSM (Blind Spot Monitor) fitted as standard making the small premium SUV even safer.
