1. Toyota Fortuner

“Reliability is a big feature with Totoya's, they just don't break. They’re capable of doing extreme kilometres and there's always a market for them. If you also have a look at the Prado it can have done 446,000 km’s, and the car drives like brand new."

Top benefits:

“Extreme reliability and a great resale market”

2. Honda CR-V

“I ran a couple of Honda dealerships in the past between 2000-2005, and we never had a single tow-in! No breakdowns, no need to go and tow people. There's such reliability and great build quality with the Japanese brands and a good market for when you come to sell it on ”

Top benefits:

“Huge reliability, great ergonomics and build quality”

3. Kia Sportage

"When Kia came to South Africa, some incorrectly assumed that it would be subpar, but it's not, it's perhaps not quite the quality of the Japanese, but not far from it, and it's getting better and better all the time. The new generations, 2010 onwards, are a great looking car where you get affordability and great reliability for your price point"

Top benefits:

“The new generation Sportage is a great looking car, very reliable and with great affordability”
