Chery claims the Tiggo 8 Pro achieved a 5 out of 5-star safety rating according to C-NCAP (Chinese New Car Assessment Program). We haven't seen the official C-NCAP safety results per se. Still, considering the amount of safety technology on board, and high strength body, it's safe to assume the Tiggo 8 Pro safety rating is true.
