The current generation Swift has done quite well on our roads, with the new one we witnessed at Japan Mobility Show 2023 coming soon. Still, though, the current generation is selling like hotcakes at the moment. The current generation received a facelift in 2021 with some styling touches and specification upgrades making the Swift range one of the best in its class for what's on offer. Does the Suzuki Swift win the popularity contest?

We will look at the new car sales figures as published by naamsa, the Automotive Business Council (National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa) for the month of February 2024. To the surprise of many, in one month alone, Suzuki sold a whopping total of 4889 vehicles. Of those vehicles, 1627 Swift were sold. From this, we can glean that the Suzuki Swift is indeed a popular car. It's no surprise considering the Swift's formula appeals to much of the South African buying market. With this in mind, why not search AutoTrader for the latest used and new Suzuki Swift offerings and sell your car too?
