The Toyota RAV4 is a well-equipped mid-size SUV that slots in between the C-HR compact cross-over and the capable Fortuner. It is offered in five derivatives, two of which come fitted with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, petrol motor producing 127 kW and 203 Nm of torque. There is also a mid-range model that offers a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder, petrol engine delivering 152 kW and 243 Nm to all four wheels.
Toyota also recently introduced two hybrid models which utilise a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder, petrol engine in combination with an electric motor to produce 163 kW and 221 Nm plus the electric motor torque. Formula
To obtain a realistic result, we will enter the purchase price of each model before any extras have been fitted. Very similar in performance to the entry-level 2.0 GX-R derivative, the 2.0 VX only powers the front wheels rather than all four. This derivative offers extra refinement on the interior and larger wheels on the exterior and as such do come at a slightly higher price.

While in terms of conveniences and trim this variant shares quite a lot with its entry-level grade sibling, it does, however, offer customers a hybrid powertrain.
