The Tiggo 7 Pro features in the middle of the Chery product line-up, but don't think that the Chinese automaker skimped on the features. The SUV will meet the requirements of most families, offering a well-specified cabin and a large boot. The model is quite attractive too, but how many airbags does it have?

Airbags

Both the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro in 1.5T Distinction guise, as well as the 1.5T Executive, offer excellent value for money based on the standard equipment installed. Both managed to score an impressive five stars in the C-NCAP. This is due to the structural integrity as well as the ISOfix child seat anchors on the outer rear seats, ABS brakes with electronic brake-force distribution on all four disk wheels, and emergency brake assist to name a few.

Of course, the airbags play a big role in the protection of the passengers and, as such, the Distinction trim comes installed with four airbags. However, if you want curtain airbags for the rear occupants, you might want to consider the Executive trim.

Verdict

Chery Tiggo 7 Pro 1.5T Distinction comes with front and side airbags for both the front occupants for a total of four units while the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro 1.5T in Executive trim gains two additional curtain airbags that should help protect the rear occupants.
