Everything you need to know about the Peugeot 308 GTi

Peugeot was never really well known in South Africa for making hot hatches. Renault, Ford, Opel, and VW made up the brunt of the hot hatch craze but the Peugeot 308 in GTi guise really was an impressive machine that could put many of these others to shame when in the right hands.

Although the 308 GTi may not be as popular as its segment stable mates it was still a great car with amazing performance to boot.

What’s it like to drive?

Reviewer's opinion

The steering is actually a delight, being light at lower speeds, but extremely quick and accurate in placing the car exactly where you want it. There isn’t huge feedback through the wheel, in terms of the steering system loading up in corners, but there is just enough to enable you to really enjoy cornering this car.
