In many respects, yes. The GS200t doesn't feel as large as it is when you're behind the wheel, and that's largely due to its surprisingly athletic handling. With a bit more power, it could be a proper sports sedan – which is why the GS350 and GS F exist. But the aim with the GS200t is rather different. This is the sensible one, the one you'd buy when your head overrules your heart's desires, so its accomplished driving dynamics comes as a bit of a surprise.

What is the Lexus GS like inside?
As expected from a premium automaker such as Lexus, the interior has a solid build quality with high-quality materials and soft-touch surfaces. The seats are very comfortable and Lexus has ensured that very little road noise and or vibrations make their way into the cabin. The layout and ergonomics are well designed in such a way that the interior feels very uncluttered with clean lines extending the width and length of the trim.
Style
Quickly noticeable upfront is the spindle grille which is flank by Bi-LED headlamps. The daytime running lights come in a strong L-shaped design and both point towards the centre of the grille. On these last iterations of the GS model range, the front and rear of the bumper as well as the taillamps were updated for a sharper design. While the Lexus GS takes on a familiar sedan silhouette, it remains unmistakably a Lexus shape. The roofline also gradually tapers down towards the rear, however, does not encroach on the headroom of the rear occupants.
