Is the Audi e-tron Sportback a good car?

While the Audi e-tron Sportback offer fully electric propulsion, many of the high-quality finish, fitment and comfort items customers have become accustomed to with the brand, feature in the model. Thus, it is without a doubt a good car.

Who is the Audi e-tron Sportback a good car for?

The Audi e-tron Sportback is a good car for individuals that want a stylish and sporty looking SUV but with an electric powertrain rather than the traditional solutions.

Is the Audi e-tron Sportback a good first car?

Although the model offers a host of standard driver-assist systems and safety equipment that will provide confidence for a first-time vehicle owner, it is quite pricey and might be out of the reach of most first-time car buyers.

Is the Audi e-tron Sportback a good family car?

The German model certainly provides a lot of space and standard safety equipment for family use. However, if the e-tron in the Sportback guise does not meet a customer's luggage space requirements, the standard e-tron SUV might serve those customers better.

Is there a Hybrid Audi e-tron Sportback?

The Audi e-tron Sportback is produced exclusively with a fully electric drivetrain configuration. This means that not only won't you be able to find a derivative with a hybrid setup but also no combustion engine at all.

What’s it like to drive?

Reviewer's opinion

Now take this sort-off power and combine it with a quattro all-wheel-drive system, motor on the front wheels and motor on the rear wheels and it will do 0-100 km/h in 5.7 seconds then on to a top speed of 200 km/h which is more than enough. Of course, driving it with a heavy foot is going to see that range tumble. I do like the way that it drives, it's quiet, it's comfortable, and it's got air suspension. With drive select, you can change from your comfort- to dynamic-, to your eco-mode, so you can tailor it to the drive you want from the vehicle.

Exterior

Interior

What is the Audi e-tron Sportback like inside?

Customers that have owned recent Audi models will find the interior familiar with many of the usual buttons and menus in the same place. However, should they fit the optional Audi e-tron virtual mirrors and the interior truly becomes more futuristic as the displays for the exterior cameras are incorporated into the door cards. These will also notify the driver of vehicles in the blind spot.

Style

Like the interior, the exterior retains a very familiar design when compared to the rest of Audi's SUV and crossover ranges. There are, however, items that distinguishes the e-tron Sportback from its combustion-powered stablemates such as the 21-inch alloy wheels and the trapezoidal grille that is flanked by the matrix LED headlamps. At the rear, the roofline elegantly swoops down as per the Sportback design language and the tailgate feature an LED lightbar that connects the taillamps. Unlock the vehicle and all the lights upfront and rear create a dynamic show to indicate the vehicle's readiness.
