We have good news and bad news...
The bad news: There are no manual models, so if you prefer stirring a 'normal' 5- or 6-speed gearbox, you'll have to look elsewhere.
The good news (and to me, this is good news): All models, including the hybrids, have CVT or continuous variable transmission gearboxes that are adept at saving fuel. They may not be as quiet as conventional automatic gearboxes, but I'd rather save petrol money, wouldn't you?

The other plus side of CVT gearboxes is that they make use of metal belts instead of rubber for a longer lifespan. Also, it has a number of other benefits, like the way it always keeps the engine in its optimum rev range, no matter the surface or speed, which translates to fewer power losses compared to a conventional auto.
Also, conventional autos sometimes ‘hunt’ for gears when the vehicle slows down, especially when going up or down a hill, but a CVT automatically finds the ideal 'gear' ratio.
