Magic seats
Released to the SA public in nearly 2024, the Honda Elevate is a compact crossover SUV made for suburban-bound families. Stylish and well-equipped, the Elevate is sold in two models, the Comfort and the Elegance. Both models are powered by the same 1.5l petrol engine but the Comfort gets a manual gearbox and the Elegance, a CVT.

Cold shoulder
Although both the Comfort and Elegance have comprehensive tech and feature lists, neither derivative is equipped with heated or ventilated seats. The costs to install this feature would be prohibitive for a vehicle competing in this market segment and most automakers deem the SA climate temparate enough that we do not need posterior warming as a base feature.
