The answer is a resounding 'yes'.
The Ford Puma comes with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission as the only available option. This advanced gearbox provides smooth gear changes and efficient performance, making it a great choice for those who spend a lot of their time in heavy traffic.

Engines
There is only one: Ford's award-winning 1.0-litre. 3-cylinder turbocharged EcoBoost petrol engine. It sends 92kW and 170Nm to the front wheels and Ford's claimed fuel consumption figure is a very decent 5.3 litres per 100 km.
My colleague Taye drove it on launch - read his report here.
Ford Puma Trims
The Puma is available in two trims: Titanium (from R570 400) and ST-Line Vignale (from R614 400). As we've mentioned, both trims come equipped with the same automatic gearbox, but the two variants have distinct personalities.
The Titanium is the 'poverty-spec' model but it's hardly poorly equipped. Ford has ensured that it gets a whole raft of luxury features with the option for more, while the ST-Line Vignale is the sportier-looking model with impressive luxury features.
There are also a few options available if you are keen on adaptive cruise control, for example.

Verdict
If you're looking for a stylish and practical not-so-compact SUV with an automatic transmission, the Ford Puma is worth taking for a test drive.
