The engine sends 184 kW and 600 Nm to all four wheels.

Can a Ford Everest Wildtrak tow?

If you just assumed that the Ford Everest in Wildtrak guise could tow because of its size and powertrain, you would be correct. In fact, owners are able to tow up to 750 kg unbraked. And if you should have a caravan, boat trailer or just a regular trailer that exceeds 750 kg, the Ford Everest Wildtrak can tow up to 3500 kg, but only if that caravan or trailer is braked.

Braked VS unbraked

Typically, most compact trailers that don't exceed a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) of 750 kg won't feature a braking system. However, by law, a trailer or caravan that exceeds 750 kg GVM must have an adjustable braking system. This helps the vehicle slow down the total mass in a more stable fashion and drivers don't experience the unsettling and dangerous characteristics of a heavy trailer or caravan pushing into the rear of the vehicle under deceleration.
