3 Extras you should retrofit on a used BMW 3 Series

Handy suggestions for what extras you can add to your BMW 3 Series.

There are several things you can do/add to your Used BMW to make it more spiffy. Parts and accessories are available from various aftermarket product stockists, but getting original parts are always the best because not only are they exactly tailored to the vehicle, they are also made from better materials.

Wheels

One of the first things many owners do is fit new wheels to their used car. Think of it as a pair of new shoes, it enhances the aesthetic appearance. Keep in mind, that changing the car’s wheels will have a significant impact on its alignment, ride quality, braking, acceleration, handling and not forgetting, the calibration of the speedometer.

When picking out wheels, work with an experienced professional or a speciality wheel shop to make sure you fit your car with something that’s compatible with your model. You will also need to fit a tyre brand that is approved by BMW if your car is still under Motorplan.

Interior bits: All-weather floor mats and sunblind

Something for your interior that’s usually very handy, and especially if you got kids or a lot of people in-and-out of your car, is all-weather floor mats and/or a sunblind.

The sunblind on the rear windows can even be used when the window is open. It is particularly useful for protecting children from direct sunlight and UVR exposure. Interestingly enough, the sunblind also helps to reduce the temperature in the vehicle.
