Enhance the driving and owning experience of your new Peugeot 3008 by adding these extras.
1. Advanced Grip Control
When purchasing a new Peugeot 3008 SUV, you can have it specified with Advanced Grip Control®. This system is designed to optimise traction in low-grip conditions by adapting to the terrain through acting on the front wheels. According to Peugeot, this saves the weight normally associated with a more conventional four-wheel drive system.
With the Advanced Grip Control®, drivers have the choice of switching between five driving modes, accessed via a rotary dial on the centre console.
In addition, the system also incorporates a new Hill Assist Descent Control (HADC), this optimises vehicle control on steep slopes. When descending a slope with a gradient of more than 5% at a speed below 30km/h, the system will work to reduce the risk of slipping. During descent the system maintains speed and brake control, allowing the driver to concentrate on the vehicle's path of travel during the manoeuvre.
A clever feature incorporated within the Hill Assist Descent Control system is 'Clutch Mode' security function. Selecting this function for very steep slopes regulates the vehicle speed to 3km/h, to allow the vehicle to creep down a steep slope in a completely controlled manner.
2. Subscription to TomTom®
The Peugeot 3008 has a new 3D Connected Navigation system that displays on either the 8.0-inch touchscreen or the 12.3-inch head-up digital instrument panel. Through a TomTom® subscription, a live feed is made possible with which traffic, weather, parking, and service station information are displayed. In addition, the system also includes full postcode lookup and voice recognition to allow for the input of address details. With the subscription, you will also receive reliable information on permanent danger areas and temporary risk areas reported by the Community.
3. Boot Accessories
Taking a weekend escape or just headed out for a bit of excitement, there are several accessories to help you make the most of it. Two of these include a Boot Liner and a Luggage Net. These help keep your items in place and safe from damage, which occurs when turning swiftly or braking hard. The rubber boot liner also protects your boot floor because of the durability, rubber tends to keep things more in place than fabric, it will also help contain spills and dirt, and is easy to clean.
