2016 Ford Focus - Airbags

These are the airbags that can be found in a Ford Focus.

As part of the safety features, there are six airbags fitted in the Ford Focus:

Driver and front passenger airbags

Front-impact airbags are fitted in the front and dash of the car to protect the head of the driver and front passenger during a frontal collision.

Driver and front passenger side airbags

Side-impact airbags are fitted in the front and inflate between the passenger and the door. They are designed to protect the torso during a side impact collision from any protruding metal or glass.

Front and rear curtain airbags

The curtain airbags protect the vehicle’s occupants heads in the case of a rollover or a rear-end collision.
