Basic Die-Casts

Ahead of the Formula 1 team unveiling their 2025 cars, Hot Wheels has unveiled their F1 range. The Hot Wheels F1 collection is divided into two categories. More basic open-wheeled single-seat racers, which will include teams such as Red Bull Racing, Williams Racing, Mercedes-AMG Formula One McLaren Formula 1 Team, BWT Alpine F1 Team, MoneyGram Haas F1 Team, Visa Cash App RB Formula One Team and KICK Sauber F1 Team.

But all of these have accurate liveries, including the sponsors. These models will be available as Hot Wheels Singles and in 5-packs for collectors. For those who would like to see them race, these basic die-cast units can also race on the Sprint and Grand Prix track sets that are also being launched as part of this series.

Track sets

As alluded to above, Hot Wheels has also developed two Formula 1 track sets: the Hot Wheels Formula 1 Sprint Race Circuit and Hot Wheels Formula 1 Grand Prix Circuit. These sets will become available in the second half of 2025. While both sets incorporate F1 and Pirelli branding, each has been designed to incorporate the players.

Hot Wheels Formula 1 Sprint Race Circuit

The Hot Wheels Formula 1 Sprint Race Circuit lets you use the kid-powered gas pedal booster and allows for launch head-to-head racing and even overtaking. You can aim for the chicane's apex or get diverted to the inner track. Alternatively, players can switch to lap mode and see how many laps they can do with the lap counter.

This track set is even more complex with actual overtaking on the track. There is also a 2-speed, 3-lane booster that will keep the cars racing around, but if your reaction time is perfect and you hit one of the two manual DRS diverters, your car will get some extra speed and can retake the lead as the cars head into the 2-into-1 180-degree corner. Also built-in is a dual-lane lap counter that will keep track for up to 25 laps, or you could just use the infinity mode and race until you decide.

Premium Die-Casts

At the top of probably everyone's want list is one or more of the Hot Wheels Premium Series Formula 1 Race Cars. These will also arrive around the second half of 2025 but will feature metal bodies and chassis. These units will also have Real Riders tyres with authentic branding and colours as per the tyre compounds available.
