Volvo Retail Experience opens in Bedfordview

Vehicle manufacturer Volvo has stepped up their retail game by beginning the rollout of the Volvo retail experience in South Africa where dealerships across the country will begin a transformation from a simple vehicle showroom into a brand experience that seeks to lure in new buyers and cement relationships with current vehicle owners.

A similar experience will await consumers no matter which dealership they enter, scaled for size naturally and much like the retail giant IKEA they can expect typical modern design and Swedish hospitality.

Large open spaces with plenty of stainless steel and glass will greet consumers upon entry with a central reception that covers the service, new sales and Volvo Selekt areas. Volvo has put a lot of emphasis on their customer care and will be introducing the Volvo customer service soon, this will entail a drive in centre and customers will be able to wait for their vehicles while two technicians will work on their car simultaneously to ensure a quicker turn around time.

Selected dealerships will also be receiving dedicated Polestar areas with emphasis on the performance division’s products. Volvo is aiming to have most dealerships converted to VRE by 2020 and with the popularity of the brand growing in South Africa and demand for pre owned vehicles rising, couldn’t have picked a better time to begin.
