The Toyota Fortuner 4x4 Challenge is back – and you can win one!

If you haven’t already heard, Toyota’s highly successful Fortuner 4x4 Challenge takes place again this year, featuring some hard-as-nails sports personalities. Over the course of two days, they have to prove themselves against the other teams in a multitude of gruelling physical and mentally taxing tasks! Last year’s contestants took part in an array of hardcore outdoor activities, including mountain biking, GPS challenges, 4x4’ing and trail running.

However, most of us are not blessed with this kind of athletic prowess, but the good news is that you can still win that Fortuner 2.4 GD-6 4x4 Automatic just by sitting on your couch or at your work desk. All you need to do is pick your favourite sports personality, and support them for the win!

Four heroes to choose from

This year’s super-fit four are: Toyota Gazoo Racing’s Giniel de Villiers, Cheetahs player Oupa Mahoje, Red Bull mountain biker Bianca Haw and obstacle course champion Hanneke Dannhauser. Their hashtags are as follows:

Each hero will be paired with another ultra-fit member of the general public, who makes it through to the semi-finals and is then nominated to take part by the participating media houses. How do I enter, without breaking a sweat?

Throughout the duration of the competition, there will be online posts featuring the four celebrities, across select social media platforms. You are required to support who you think is going to win, by doing the following:

On Twitter:  You are required to “quote” and/or “reply” to a tweet of your favourite celebrity competition post, tag your celeb and use the #Fortuner hashtag, as well as tag @ToyotaSA.

On Facebook: Comment on the Facebook competition posts on the Toyota SA Facebook page, with the hashtagged name of your chosen celebrity.

Via USSD:  Dial *120*62800# and follow the prompts. Selecting your chosen celebrity validates the entry.

The Fortuner 4x4 Challenge will take place at the Conrad Pezula resort during the month of November, and the competition will be aired on Supersport. Entries close on 22 October 2017 and the winner will be selected shortly thereafter.
