BMW opened its 1st stand-alone BMW M dealer in Pretoria – capital city of South Africa:  Zambesi Auto M.

The strong South African market share percentage of new BMW M cars has SA as one of the top performers in the world, ranked 5th in terms of overall BMW M market share.

In 2015, BMW SA saw 916 new BMW M cars delivered, and 1049 BMW M Performance units.

2nd biggest BMW M dealer in the world – Zambesi Auto M

It is the 1st BMW M dealer for South Africa, and the 2nd biggest BMW M dealer in the world.  This new showroom will pave the way for more stand-alone M dealers in South Africa and across the world.

The BMW Group announced its new Strategy NUMBER ONE > NEXT, which includes the expansion of the BMW M product range and the BMW M Performance range into higher-volume segments.  The opening of these dealers tie in well with this strategy.

Current BMW and MINI dealer Zambesi Auto, in Zambesi Drive, Pretoria, says its initial independent M outlet has been hugely successful, irrespective of economic times, and opened the doors to their new BMW M dealer with confidence that this market will grow, considering the number of loyal local BMW M fans.

BMW M cars on display… MMM, tasty

At the opening, the car that started it all was present:  the legendary 1978 BMW M1.  Alongside it is the newest M car, being shipped to dealers now:  the 2016 BMW M2. 

A selection of BMW M cars will be at display on these BMW M showrooms… MMM, tasty.

BMW M cars in the current new-car line-up are the just-launched BMW M2, BMW M3, BMW M4, BMW M5, BMW X5 M, BMW M6 and BMW X6 M.

BMW M Performance range cars are BMW M135i, BMW M235i and the X-pair of tri-turbo diesel “SAV”s named BMW X5 M50d and BMW X6 M50d.
