Porsche has released a special edition for 3 of its Cayenne SUV models:  the Cayenne Platinum Edition models offer premium-quality features at an attractive packaged price and exclusivity of a limited edition.

The Cayenne Platinum Edition (V6 petrol), Cayenne diesel Platinum Edition and Cayenne S e-hybrid Platinum Edition are identified from the outside by 20-inch wheels in RS Spyder design, housed in wider wheel arches.  The exterior appearance is rounded off by the black high-gloss exterior package.

The interior gets seats with 8-way electric adjustment upholstered in Alcantara suede-cloth centre panels and leather outer trim, plus the Porsche crest embossed on all headrests.  Opening the door will show the stainless steel sill plate in Platinum Edition cursive lettering.

Equipment included in the Cayenne Platinum Edition models:  Bi-xenon headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), Power Steering Plus, ParkAssist (parking sensors front and rear), rear-view and exterior mirrors with automatic anti-glare feature, dark-tinted glass for additional privacy in the rear passenger compartment, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) 7-inch touch-screen, Bose Surround Sound system, and analogue clock in the dashboard.

A gloss non-metallic black or white paint is standard for all Cayenne Platinum Edition variants, with other colours optional:  Deep Black, Purpurite, Mahogany, Carrara White and Rhodium Silver.

These Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition models are available for order from the Porsche Centres in South Africa now, with deliveries set to commence in August 2016.

The costs are between R 52 000 and R 56 000 extra above the models these are based on.
