Petrol price to increase
Petrol price to increase
South Africa motorists are going to feel the squeeze at the pumps. Midnight on Tuesday the prices of all grades of fuel will be increasing.
Petrol will be 45c and Diesel 63c a litre more expensive
95 Octane at the reef will cost drivers R13.05c, while the coastal drivers get off with a marginally better R12.57 per litre. Diesel climbs to an eye watering R11.34c a litre while coastal areas will get it delivered at R10.96c.
Sadly economists are not predicting a decrease any time soon as international commodity prices of crude products, the exchange rate and a volatile local political arena are going to ensure instability in the prices for the forseeable future.
Motorist are urged to engage in fuel saving activities and brace themselves for further increases before the end of the year.
