Mazda Mazda2
The newly-formed Mazda SA, having split from Ford, will bring in the new Mazda2. It won Japanese Car of the Year, and promises to keep the lively spirit of its predecessor.
Citroën DS3 facelift
The car that created the DS sub-brand of Citroën is the DS3 – it is getting a new light signature, and new sequential indicators. A new range of personalization processes will be offered. DS3 hatch and DS3 Cabrio with its slide-back roof will receive the new look.
Datsun Go upgrade
Having re-launched Datsun locally towards the end of 2014 as a very affordable new car, it will receive an upgrade to include safety specification such as ABS and airbag/s to address the criticism it has received.
Fiat 500 facelift
The 500 has been around since 2008 with no change to its retro looks. Spy shots are indicating it will receive a facelift this year.

Honda Jazz
The 3rd generation Jazz will be a more sporty interpretation, though keeping its practical easy-stowage Magic Seats. It arrives in February 2015.
Hyundai i20
Confirmed for arrival end of this month (January 2015) the 2nd Hyundai i20 is more mature, gaining a more sophisticated appearance and soft-touch materials for this compact hatchback.
MINI John Cooper Works Hatch
The hot version of the new MINI Hatch is the John Cooper Works, employing the new 2.0-litre engine and the most powerful MINI ever.
Nissan Micra facelift
The Micra was facelifted in 2013 already in overseas markets, though SA has yet to receive the more grown-up looking car – hopefully it will arrive locally this year.
Opel Adam
A much-hyped car is the all-new Opel Adam, named after founder of the company. It is a young and fresh compact car with catchy trim names such as Jam and Glam. It arrives in SA within a few weeks.
Suzuki Celerio
Suzuki is focusing on offering a range of small city cars, so it will be introducing the Celerio hatch locally. It will be available in manual or AGS automatic.
Toyota Aygo
The previous Aygo was available here as the smallest Toyota, and its replacement (complete with moustache like the Yaris facelift) is said to be introduced again this year.
Volkswagen up!
Yes, up! with exclamation mark is the baby VW’s name. Although available in Europe since 2011, VWSA obviously wants to retain its strong Polo Vivo sales. The up! will arrive in SA as a modern 3-door city car.
Audi A1 and A1 Sportback facelift
The baby Audi is receiving a redesign, with new stylised headlights, new 3-cylinder 1.0T and 1.4TDI engines, and restructured options and new décor like black window arches. These changes apply to both A1 3-door and A1 Sportback.
