MINI Seven in SA
The MINI Seven has just become available in South Africa.
The 1st surprise is that it is not a limited edition, but an option package. It will be available as factory order on MINI 3-door and 5-door, in Cooper and Cooper S spec.
The letter 7 and word Seven appear on this MINI package, as it is named in commemoration of the Austin Seven, being the original Mini (the classic Mini, as it has become known as).
MINI Yours
The MINI Seven is from the MINI Yours individualisation programme.
Paints are available in Lapisluxury Blue (shown, but the deep blue does not show on the screen or in print), British Racing Green, Pepper White (that cream white) or Midnight Black.
Melting Silver is for the roof and mirror caps, while bonnet stripes also get reddish border stripes.
The front side fenders wear script Seven and a number 7, and a repeat for the door sill plates. The alloy wheels are a MINI Seven specific creation, in 17-inch.
The interior is in a combination you can’t buy on another MINI, in Diamond Malt Brown and black, in a cloth/leather combination.

The MINI Seven package prices are R 33 850 for the Cooper, which includes the addition of front sports seats and an upgrade from 16 to the 17-inch rims.
On Cooper S, the Seven adds a lower R 25 000, as the S already has sports seats and 17-inch rims.
