McLaren 570GT – the most refined McLaren yet, with practical use

McLaren’s soft(er) side

That flip-open rear glass is not just for show, as it signals a more practical side of McLaren.  The McLaren 570GT is the most refined yet, and the most suitable for day-to-day usability.  It is the most road-biased McLaren to date, with a focus on increased long-distance comfort.

The GT in 570GT gives away the Grand Tourer intentions, and shows McLaren’s soft(er) side.  It joins the McLaren Sports Series family of 540C and 570S.  The new fixed panoramic roof sees this glasshouse form a sleek silhouette, marking the 2nd of the 3 body styles to eventually complete the range.

Targeted towards weekends away and longer journeys, the McLaren 570GT allows easier loading of smaller luggage onto the Touring Deck – the leather-lined shelf behind the seats, accessed by popping open the rear side-hinged glass panel.  This glass hatch opens on the kerb side, away from the street, hinged for left- or right-hand-drive.

Detailed prime quality craftmanship and various comfort items are included with the McLaren 570GT.

Still a true McLaren

The 570GT may be a more comfortable car, but still a true McLaren, keeping the high performance.

The main McLaren 570GT figures are:  3.4 sec 0-100, 328km/h, 3.8-litre V8 twin turbo, 414kW, 600Nm, 7-speed SSG auto.  Height?  1201mm.
