Land Rover Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic – super-luxury made sportier

A red Range Rover is not something you’ll likely see every day.  For those who like the big-body Range Rover, but want more sport… but not the Range Rover Sport… there is now a new Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic.  Available in red, as shown here.

SVAutobiography + Dynamic = SVAutobiography Dynamic

Whereas the SVAutobiography super-luxury was introduced as the new flagship Range Rover spec, the SVAutobiography Dynamic adds a sportier flavour to this.  This is an all-new model from SVO (Special Vehicle Operations).

Its 5.0 V8 supercharged 405kW/680Nm engine is shared with the Range Rover Sport SVR and Range Rover Supercharged SVAutobiography.

Whereas the SVAutobiography is available in standard or Range Rover L (Long wheelbase) bodies, the SVAutobiography Dynamic will only be built in the standard-length body.

Diamond-quilted, red keyline…

Diamond-quilted leather seats with contrast stitching are available in 4 exclusive colourways.  The driver’s/owner’s handbook is bound in quilted leather, matched to the chosen interior.

The headliner is in Ebony (black) perforated leather, while the front fascia and door casings are in Grand Black veneer, with additional red keyline finish on the door casings.

Underlining the Dynamic’s dynamic positioning, paddle shifters are in anodized red, if not ordered with a tan interior.

Graphite Atlas exterior detailing

Unique exterior features are Graphite Atlas (dark grey) finishes for the side vents, bonnet finisher, grille, front bumper accents, Range Rover lettering and tailgate finisher.  Should it be whispered that the Bentley Bentayga (Bentley’s first SUV which is attempting to challenge the Range Rover crown) also has quilted leather seats?

A choice of 21-inch or 22-inch wheels are given, in designs different to the other Range Rover models, sporting red brake calipers and Brembo brake technology.

The SVO division fine-tuned suspension to achieve the optimum combination of performance and comfort (comfort, of course – it is a Range Rover).

Dynamic Response, Adaptive Dynamics, quad tailpipes

Dynamic Response improves vehicle handling and occupant comfort by reducing the amount of body lean.  The system controls the front and rear axles independently, delivering increased low-speed agility, superior high-speed stability and greater steering precision. 

Adaptive Dynamics monitors vehicle movements, reacting to driver inputs and changes in the road surface to provide greater control without compromising Range Rover’s peerless refinement.

In keeping with its more purposeful character, the SVAutobiography Dynamic features bright chrome quad tailpipes, similar to the Supercharged SVAutobiography, though here optimised to enhance its distinctive V8 soundtrack.

Availability and pricing of the Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic for the SA market have not been communicated.
