Lamborghini launches the Ad Personam Studio, allowing customisation at its factory

Lamborghini launched the Ad Personam Studio at its Sant’Agata Bolognese headquarters: an area dedicated entirely to the company's customisation program… a program which enables each customer to create his or her very own Lamborghini.

Ad Personam Studio

The Ad Personam Studio is located in the heart of the company’s production facility.  The new design studio is designed to offer Lamborghini customers the experience of being aided by an Ad Personam specialist along each step of the way towards his/her personalised future sports car, in order to select colours of paint and colours and materials for the upholstery.

Before specifying their car, a prospective owner is given a guided factory tour, to see possible configurations on other actual Huracán and Aventador Lamborghinis currently being manufactured.  Then the customer is hosted in the Ad Personam Studio, which displays a wide selection of leathers, colours and typres of Alcantara suede, thread for stitching, seats, steering wheels, rims… and includes a digital simulation on an advanced configurator.  The particular model ordered is also displayed in the studio (as seen here where the Aventador Miura Homage is parked in studio).

Ad Personam program

The Ad Personam program started in 2006, and expanded in 2013 with the creation of a dedicated team from the company’s different departments.  The goal is to offer a tailored consulting service to aid each customer in the choices.  While style is personal, all customisation needs to meet criteria consistent with stringent Lamborghini quality and safety standards.

In the 1st half of 2016, more than half of Lamborghini cars were delivered after undergoing the steps through the Ad Personam program option.
