Rather than the regular issuing of a special / limited edition car in anniversary of a number of years past, there is now a car which celebrates the past and the future.

On 7 March 2016, BMW commemorated its first 100 years since the company was founded on 7 March 1916.  In the car maker’s typical way of innovation, it released a limited edition car to not only look at its first 100 years, but also its next 100 years.

7 Series flagship marks BMW centenary

The suitable recipient of this honour to mark the marque’s centenary is the BMW company’s flagship new BMW 7 Series, in suitably outfitted BMW Individual guise as the epitome of BMW luxury and prestige.

Thanks to a BMW Individual specced car getting only the highest special deep-lustre BMW Individual paint and soft-leather interior, this even more individualised BMW 7 Individual gets BMW Individual Centennial Blue metalic, just for this model, and BMW Individual fine-grain Merino full leather trim in Smoke White with black accents in its central element.

Very unusual even for a BMW Individual is the application of Alcantara suede-cloth for the floor covering including mats, and the safety belts.

The BMW Individual 7 Series The Next 100 Years is limited to a 100 units, each bearing the 1 of 100 script ahead of the gear selector, and THE NEXT 100 YEARS lettering and the centenary logo on the dashboard trim finisher ahead of the front passenger.

Montblanc fountain pen included

Each buyer of this anniversary model BMW will also receive a Montblanc fountain pen… not an off-the-expensive-shelf Montblanc fountain pen, but a limited edition pen created exclusively to accompany this car, in design and blue&silver colours finished to precisely align with the car.  The pen is named Montblanc for BMW Centennial Fountain Pen.
