1st 320km/h+ 4-door Bentley

Bentley announced a new flagship to the Flying Spur range – the W12 S blends luxury, style, power and speed unlike any other 4-door Bentley before it.

The Flying Spur W12 S is the 1st 4-door Bentley to reach in excess of 200 mph (320 km/h) with an achievement of 202 mph / 325 km/h.  The initial sprint to 100 km/h is over in 4-and-a-half seconds.

The W12 S is meant to be the ultimate luxury performance sedan, as it combines increased luxury and power.  The W12 S effectively gets the uprated engine from the Continental GT Speed W12, improving on the already-ample Flying Spur W12 output of 460kW/800Nm to GT Speed / W12 S level of 467kW and 820Nm.  Full torque is available from 2000 r/min, making for that typical-Bentlet effortless driving experience.

For owner driver or chauffeur

Power is delivered via an all-wheel-drive system with a 40:60 rear bias, for sure-footed engaging driving in dry or wet driving conditions.

The W12 S also has specific suspension calibrations, reaching and involving agile drive yet a refined ride – set up for the owner driver or the chauffeur.

Blackware

A number of dark styling cues hint at the more assertive, darker character of this Bentley and W12 S improved dynamics: a suite of blackware detailing include Beluga gloss black matrix radiator grille and surround, headlight washer caps, lights surrounds, window surrounds, door handle inserts, and rear bumper diffuser.  The front and rear lamps receive a dark tint.

The D-pillars W12 chrome badges get a new black S suffix.

The wheels are 21-inch 7-spoke gloss-black as standard, or a new optional 5-spoke directional rim in either gloss black or dark tint (the latter featured in the accompanying imagery).  Optional ceramic brakes are available with red or black painted calipers.

The unique leather stitching and W12 S treadplates front and rear also welcome a new theme on the classic Bentley engine-spin machined fascia panels – on the W12 S these are in a unique black finish, rather than the usual silver metal look.

Is the most gangster-looking production Bentley?
