Audi A1 R18 Le Mans Limited Edition

Special Edition Audi A1 R18 Le Mans hits South Africa.

In celebration of Audi’s rich heritage at the 24 hours of Le Mans, Audi South Africa is proud to announce the introduction of a special edition Audi A1.  The R18 Le Mans Limited Edition has been introduced in anticipation of the 2014 Le Mans race, which promises to be one of the most exciting and competitive races in the history of Le Mans.

A limited number of 100 units have been secured for the South African market and provide extremely high value to the Audi customer. The R18 Le Mans Edition includes key styling elements from the R18 Le Mans race car which has been adapted and translated to enhance the Audi A1.



Among the design elements, the most symbolic is the number “378” which can be found on the exterior of the car and represents the number of laps which led the Audi R18 to victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans race in 2012. The limited edition model also includes the winning drivers’ signatures on the top corner of the rear window.



The package includes the following equipment:

• 17-inch cast aluminium wheels in 5-V-spoke titanium look design.
• Competition Kit front spoiler and side sills
• Rear diffuser and Competition Kit rear roof spoiler.
• Sport tail pipes.
• R18 decals in red or grey.
• Exterior mirrors in Ice Silver or Misano Red.
• Air vents, centre console, rear-view mirror, floor mats and door handles in decorative R18 Le Mans design.

This model is available with a choice of the following exterior colours: Amalfi White, Glacier White, Misano Red, Phantom Black and Brilliant Black at an additional cost of R 1,850.

The Audi A1 R18 Le Mans Limited Edition is now available to customers on all Audi A1 Hatchback and Audi A1 Sportback SE models at an additional cost of only R 10,800 over and above the standard price of the vehicle. The Audi A1 SE range is priced as follows, including the standard 5-year/100,000 km Audi Freeway Plan:
