Do all four windows glide up and down effortlessly? Check. Are the wheel-changing tools complete and functional and is the spare wheel serviceable? Check. And so on, until the car can be declared: as good as new.

On the basis of this assessment a certificate can be issued, along with proof of roadworthiness. Add in a minimum of 24 month / 60 000 km roadside assistance, and the possibility of owning an Approved Jaguar becomes a very seductive option.
