Latest Information on Toyota Tazz
Originally labelled as the Toyota Conquest Tazz, the entry-level model first appeared in 1996. It was very low specced and only available in a 4-speed manual. In 1999 a 5-speed was brought out, along with colour coded bumpers and a twin-tip exhaust. Another small facelift took place in 2000 with a name change to the Toyota Tazz and production was discontinued in 2006. It was a very popular and reliable car that contained a 1300 cc engine that was later changed to a 1.3-litre producing 55 kW and a 1.6-litre producing 79 kW.
