Latest Information on Tata Indigo
The Indigo is the sedan version of the Tata Indica. The model debuted in 2002 and was introduced in South Africa around 2004/2005. While sharing a similar design to the Indica, the Indigo has a higher wheelbase and is offered with turbocharged-diesel and petrol engine options. The car was cosmetically refreshed in 2006. Second generation models were launched in 2009 with a new name, Tata Indigo Manza. According to reports from India, people didn’t take a liking to it for a personal vehicle as the first models were used as taxi’s. Even a facelift didn’t help sales and the model was cut from production.
