Latest Information on Mazda BT-50
The second generation Mazda BT-50 isn’t the first name that pops into your head when considering a new rugged set of wheels, but if you like to be different from the rest, it’s special in its own way. Mechanically, the BT-50 doesn’t differ much from the Ford Ranger, which in itself should be a good selling point, but overall it lacks the refinement of the Ranger. It is currently using the Ford-sourced 3.2-litre turbodiesel engine, and is due for a much-needed facelift in 2016 which will address the abovementioned refinement and interior issues. Engines are to remain unchanged for now. (The other engine in the BT-50 lineup is a 2.2-litre turbodiesel.) The current generation has been around since 2012.
