Latest Information on Lexus CT
Introduced in 2011, the CT 200H is the world’s first compact hatchback with a petrol-electric hybrid engine, which it borrows from the best – the best being the Toyota Prius. Along with its inherited engine it also gains the benefits of Toyota’s proven reliability from the previous two generations of the Prius. Although there may only be one engine and transmission choice, Lexus splurges on the trim levels with the availability of 6 levels. Admittedly, the eco focus doesn’t make for an exciting drive either. The CT 200H seems conceptually confused as to whether it should be economy-focused or compete on the level of sportiness, which has led to compromises on both ends.
