Latest Information on Honda Insight
The Honda Insight was the first production hybrid car to hit the market. It was based on the Honda J-VX concept that was revealed in 1997 and launched in 1999. Seven months after it launched, Toyota launched the Prius taking all the light away from the Insight. They were such odd looking cars that no one expected it to become the car of the future but hybrids became prized for their superior fuel economy. Due to slow sales Honda discontinued the model in 2014 but is committed to producing future hybrid vehicles.
