Sold throughout the world as the GWM Wingle 5, the 2.2-litre turbodiesel pick-up is known as the Steed in Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa. With peak output of 105 kW and 350 Nm, the Steed (or V Series, as it is known in Australia) bears a striking side and rear profile resemblance to the Isuzu KB. Since 2014, the Steed has been made available with a 2.0-litre or a 2.4-litre turbodiesel motor, and now has LED headlights, diff lock, reverse camera and tyre pressure monitoring systems. It also has a nice touch-screen infotainment system attached to a relatively decent sound system.
