Latest Information on AC Cobra
Somewhere around 1952 the Cobra's basic chassis and suspension were laid down in England by racing car constructor, John Tojeiro, for a limited number of racing cars. The design was bought by AC and adopted for its 1954 Ace sports car. Using the lightweight British chassis design and merging it with an American V8 engine, Carroll Shelby then developed the iconic AC Cobra. The Cobra is fast, noisy and a little hard on the steering. It’s also less accommodating to bigger sized people with very little space and practically no stowage. Nevertheless, the Cobra is an amazing car to drive and own.
