Yamaha Motorcycles SA again supported the Soweto Motorbike School’s charity run for International Nelson Mandela Day. On Saturday 14 July, 500 people on 340 bikes gathered at World of Yamaha for this worthy cause.

Yamaha SA donated a R150 000 Tajima embroidery machine to Muthumuni Corporate Gifts to assist them in growing their business.

Soweto Motorbike School donated a fridge, deep freeze and stove to SKY (Soweto Kliptown Youth), the charity selected for the ride. Bikers brought enough non-perishable foods to fill a bakkie.

Bikers and Police units rode in convoy to SKY where the donations were handed over.
