2018 Pirelli SA Bike of The Year finalists announced

The annual Pirelli SA Bike of The Year finalists have been announced.

The 12 finalists were selected from all of the 20 or so new models launched since the previous event. In alphabetical order, they are:

1. BMW G310GS
2. BMW K1600B
3. Ducati Multistrada 1260
4. Ducati Panigale V4
5. Honda Goldwing
6. Husqvarna Vitpilen 701
7. Kawasaki Ninja 400
8. Kawasaki H2 SX
9. Kawasaki Z900RS
10. KTM 790 Duke
11. Triumph 765 Street Triple
12. Triumph Tiger 1200

The judging will take place on 17 and 18 October in and around Gauteng, with most of the testing being done at the Gerotek Proving Grounds close to Hartbeespoort Dam.
