Best time to buy a motorcycle

Many folks may not be aware of the fact that, just like convertibles, motorcycles are seasonal. Although it may not seem like it sometimes, motorcyclists are human and are not immune to icy temperatures or rain.

What this means is there are times when getting a great deal on a motorcycle is directly related to certain times of the year.

Weather permitting

Many riders will often store away or even sell their motorcycles just before winter. The icy temps make riding less enjoyable and only hardcore bikers will dare to battle the subzero climate. This is a good time to shop for a new ride as many bikes will be up for sale and dealers will want to move stock and may cut you a great deal.

End of year sale

Another great time to shop for a bike is close to the end of the year when dealers are expecting new models to arrive and other bikers will be looking to trade in their older bike for a shiny new unit. There are always great deals to be had if you know where to look.

Any two-wheel aficionado will tell you that there is never a bad time to buy a bike, it’s just that sometimes are better than others!
