Licensing requirements in South Africa
Before you hit the road, ensure you have the correct license. In South Africa, motorcycle licenses are categorised as follows:
Code A1: For motorcycles with an engine capacity not exceeding 125cc.11 The minimum age to apply is 17.

You must first obtain a learner's license before you can book your practical K53 test for a full license.
