Hello there,
Interesting set of vehicles you have there. For the most part, we'll speak in broad strokes but here are some things to consider for each car:
Provided the vehicles have been maintained meaning the vehicles have had comprehensive service histories, you shouldn't have any issues. However there are few common issues to note.
Golf 7 TSI, expect to find higher mileage examples. Overseas, common problems that may have surfaced include faulty turbo wastegate actuators, cabin blowers ceasing, sqeaky front suspension bushings and an aircon compressor noise caused by a faulty solenoid valve. Water may potentially leak into the cabin caused by a cracked door speaker mounting bracket (Which can replaced quite easily). Opel Astra. expect to also find higher mileage examples. Overseas, common problems include faulty seat heaters, electrical issues such as the engine failing to start, malfunctioning central locking and failing wipers. Gearshift cables can seize. The wheel arch liner can come loose slightly and can rattle. Clutch disengagement issues.
Renault Clio. A small number of 2019 Renault Clios suffered from power steering failure. You can read further in our article : https://www.autotrader.co.za/cars/new...
KIA Rio. From what we've researched, they seem to be fairly reliable vehicles and have lower mileage.
Our pick would be the KIA Rio due to the reliability and lower mileage examples. A few years back, KIA's according to the Kinsey Report had a tendency to be on the pricier end to maintain, however this may have changed now. Alternatively, the Renault Clio would also be a decent pick.
Hope this helps,
