Honda S is not a model but represented a series of sports cars. The first of these was the Honda S360 which was unveiled on the 5th June 1962. However, this model never made it into production. The Honda S500 2-door roadster was then released in 1963. It was considered as a more marketable proposition on a global scale. The Honda S600 roadster was then launched in 1964 and remained in production until 1966. Honda then went on to introduce the S800 sports car at the 1965 Tokyo Motor Show as the replacement to the S600. The S600 was available as either a coupe or roadster. The popular Honda S2000 roadster was then launched in 1999 and stayed in production until 2009.
