Hello there,
We believe the minimum amount to qualify for finance would be R6500. However this also depends on variables like the cost of the vehicle, how big your deposit is and unfortunately your credit score. You'll have to contact and see if you're able to qualify with a finance house of your choice and perhaps negotiate a finance deal with them. We have an article talking about credit scores here: https://www.autotrader.co.za/cars/news-and-advice/automotive-news/what-credit-s
core-is-needed-for-car-finance-in-south-africa/9818 You can search AutoTrader to begin your car buying journey and we also have tools to help you calculate your finance here: https://www.autotrader.co.za/car-finance-calculator
Just peruse what car best fits your finance range and continue from there.
We hope this helps, The AskAutoTrader Team
