Hello there,
Thank you for your question. An eclectic choice of vehicles for your first car.
Your needs are defined which is a good thing. Think of this as a triangle graph of sorts, you can have a few features but not all at once, some have to be sacrificed for another.
Remember at the end of the day, your prime choices are European Luxury cars and older ones at that. While you have aftermarket parts support for Mercedes Benz and BMW, these are going to be costly and demanding for a first time car owner to maintain, even if you have a private mechanic and such. You need to know what you're getting yourself into when it comes to cars like these. The W211 and W124 would be nice as a weekender and potential project too.
With the likes of the Honda Accord and Civic, Mazda 3 and 6, they're dependable cars for a reason, even if they're 'bland' so to speak for daily usage and the odd long trip. Admittedly if these vehicles haven't been taken car of, they too can be problematic.
If you want big space, comfort, some sense of luxury and a reliable car for daily usage, look at the likes of the Honda CR-V and Toyota Rav4. A Subaru Legacy Turbo or even Forester Turbo at a stretch would fulfil your needs but can be problematic if not maintained well and they're heavy on fuel consumption. Keep the BMW and Mercedes as weekender projecters to scratch an itch.
At the budget you've stated though, rather go something more modest like a Honda Civic or Mazda Etude even but expect high mileage vehicles at that point.
We hope this helps,
