Hi there
Such a cross-border transaction involves a lot of legislative hurdles. For one, you will need the car's original registration document (NATiS) to cross the border; or alternatively a letter from the finance service provider along with a certified copy of the NATiS document, stating that the car is allowed to leave South Africa.
Furthermore, to obtain that permission from Botswana will be a tough ask: Due to the volume of stolen cars taken across border, finance service providers are not eager to finance foreign citizens for local cars. We'd suggest talking to your local customs- and import expert for clarification, and the procedure for this intricate operation.
Hope this helps!
