Hi there
It sounds like that dealership is adding all manner of extras and fees to the advertised amount - most likely under the guise of "on the road fees" (or smash-and-grab or a gearlock or "paint protection" or an extended warranty or even floor mats - there are many possibilities!).
This is an old practice, designed to pad the dealer's bottom line by charging a hefty mark-up on accessories or additional services. You're not obliged to accept the extra charges, especially if you weren't informed about them or asked for them (or if they were added without your say-so).
As an aside, "on the road fees" are not allowed to be paid for as part of the finance agreement, and you are entitled to bargain with the dealership to bring them down.
Hope this helps!
