Hi there!
These naturally-aspirated Hyundais and Kias are mechanically identical, and neither of them appear to present any serious design- or quality flaws. The engines are considered very robust, and provided you stick to the manufacturer's requirements for service and routine maintenance, should last a very long time indeed.
