Hi there
Generally speaking, the car's original service plan and warranty coverage should carry through to the next owner, without any need for an additional warranty- or service plan extension. The only requirement is that the car should pass a quality check at a dealership for that specific brand (Suzuki in your case), following which the vehicle's details on the manufacturer's database should be updated to reflect the change of ownership.
It sounds like the salesperson in question is trying to "upsell" you on add-on cover, most likely because of commission or other sales incentives from the service provider, but you are entirely within your rights to refuse this. It's common practice, unfortunately, but you cannot be coerced into opting for something you don't need. If she insists that you have to take this add-on, tell her that you're not interested, and will take your business elsewhere if she continues pushing you in this direction: they often count on uninformed buyers to fall for this sales line, but usually change their tune as soon as you make this clear.
Hope this helps!
